Vehicle Overview
This Jeep is approximately 90% original and is in excellent condition for its age. It belongs to an elderly couple in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who have owned it since 1992 and are only the second owners. Over the years, the Jeep has been well cared for and has always been stored indoors on a hard surface.
About 12–18 months ago, the Jeep was parked (in running condition) due to their declining health. For a while, it was started every few weeks to keep the battery charged and in running condition. Eventually, it ran out of fuel, the battery died, and it remained parked for approximately 12 months.
When we pulled the Jeep out of the shop where it had been stored, we were honestly impressed with how well it had held up. Some of the pictures included with the listing were taken at that time, before we began the reconditioning process, so you can see the condition of the Jeep after coming out of storage. It has a clean title, and the registration and insurance have always been kept current.
Since the Jeep had been sitting for an extended period, we didn’t want to simply install a battery, add some gas, and see if it would start. We took our time and carefully worked through the vehicle, addressing what needed attention while preserving its originality and character.
